Memorial Day Holiday and Shipping Schedule

VetRxDirect will be closed Monday, May 28th, 2018 in observance of Memorial Day.

Our pharmacy will have abbreviated hours and shipping schedule. While VetRxDirect.com is available 24 hours a day for online order placement, please pay particular attention to our hours and shipping schedule, especially if you rely on our pharmacy for insulin or other temperature sensitive products.

  • Thursday, May 24: Last day to ship temperature sensitive orders this week.*
  • Friday, May 25: No temperature sensitive orders will ship.
  • Saturday, May 26: No orders will ship.
  • Sunday, May 27: CLOSED.
  • Monday, May 28: CLOSED.
  • Tuesday, May 29: Resume normal shipping policies.

*Prescription orders, including temperature-sensitive drugs, can only ship after approval from your veterinarian. Prescription authorization must be obtained before 3 PM CST in order to be shipped out on the same day. Visit our website for more information.

2017 Holiday Hours and Shipping Dates

With the holidays coming up, our pharmacy will have abbreviated hours and shipping schedule. While VetRxDirect.com is available 24 hours a day for online order placement, please pay particular attention to our holiday hours and shipping schedule, especially if you rely on our pharmacy for insulin or other temperature sensitive products. While we always ship every package as soon as possible at VetRxDirect, please allow a couple of extra days for delivery on orders placed in the upcoming weeks. This season our pharmacy will be closed with no shipping or receiving on Monday, December 25th, and Monday, January 1st.

VetRxDirect’s 2017 holiday customer service hours are as follows:

  • Sunday, December 24: CLOSED.
  • Monday, December 25: CLOSED.
  • Tuesday, December 26: Open with regular business hours 9:00am-5:00pm CST.
  • Sunday, December 31: CLOSED.
  • Monday, January 1: CLOSED.
  • Tuesday, January 2: Resume normal customer service hours.

VetRxDirect’s 2017 holiday shipping schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, December 21: Last day to ship temperature sensitive orders this week.*
  • Friday, December 22: No temperature sensitive orders shipped.
  • Saturday, December 23: No orders ship.
  • Sunday, December 24: CLOSED.
  • Monday, December 25: CLOSED.
  • Thursday, December 28: Last day to ship temperature sensitive orders this week.*
  • Friday, December 29: No temperature sensitive orders shipped.
  • Saturday, December 30: No orders ship.
  • Sunday, December 31: CLOSED.
  • Monday, January 1: CLOSED.
  • Tuesday, January 2: Resume normal shipping policies.

*Prescription orders, including temperature-sensitive drugs, can only ship after approval from your veterinarian. Prescription authorization must be obtained before 3 PM CST in order to be shipped out on the same day. Temperature sensitive orders which do not make our processing deadlines on Thursday, December 21st  or Thursday, December 28th will not ship until Tuesday, December 26th and Tuesday, January 2nd respectively. Visit our website for more information.

While you can place orders online 24/7 all year long, VetRxDirect Pet Pharmacy will have limited customer service hours in observance of the national holidays. Techs will be available to help you by phone and e-mail during the following times:

  • Monday, December 24th … 9 to 1PM CST
  • Tuesday, December 25th … Closed
  • December 26th – 30th … Regular Business Hours
  • Monday, December 31th … 9 to 1PM CST
  • Tuesday, Janurary 1st … Closed

We’ll be closed on Independence Day.  This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t place a new order at VetRxDirect.com, it just means we won’t be able to ship it out until Thursday.

This midweek holiday may cause a delay in the delivery of your order as well.  Make sure to figure in another day to expedited services on our shipping terms to account for the day off.
