VisBiome Vet ...lifesaver!
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets 40 CapsulesBackground. My little 12 year old pug George suddenly became deathly ill in early October. Acute pancreatitis, internal bleeding, vomiting, diarrhea, aspiration pneumonia, diabetes. Very serious but thanks to the wonderful care received from VCA Arboretum, Downers Grove, IL, under the guidance of a singularly skilled and compassionate veterinarian, Dr. Felipe Galvao, George has essentially returned to normal...including remission of diabetes!😀 He has been prescribed multiple drugs each of which are doing their specific missions. However, this regimen resulted in digestive tract issues. Dr. Galvao prescribed VISBIOME VET and within a day or two the problem was resolved! Amazing! So gratefuul! We continue nursing George along but for all practical purposes he his back to his old self! Meds will be finished soon but VISBIOME VET may well be continued. We tragically lost George's brother last year and I am extremely covetous of his well being. We will always be mindful and grateful of the role your product played in his return to health! Sincerely, Spencer Hendron University of Iowa, BA, 1961 -

Q & A
-
The product is supposed to be refrigerated. How do you ship it and keep it refrigerated?
-
The manufacturer of Visbiome states that Visbiome can be stored at room temperature for up to a week without it affecting the probiotic's potency. The potency may be affected if the product reaches temperatures over 86 degrees F. We ship Visbiome with cold packs and a temperature sensor purchased from the manufacturer that will trigger if the product is exposed to temperatures above 86 degrees F. If cold packs are fully or partially melted inside, it does not necessarily mean that the temperature inside the package reached a level that would inactivate the bacteria. Please note that cold packs start to melt at any temperature above freezing.

Hello, I just purchased Visbiome because I heard it's great for cats with diarrhea. Right now, I give my kitten a small amount of Jarrow Saccharomyces Boulardii 1/8 spoon in the morning and one Nexabiotic capsule at night, which seems to work well. But my kitten is going to be spayed soon, and the vet will prescribe antibiotics afterward. Antibiotics usually upset my kitten's stomach. I've noticed that giving him more probiotics helps, but sometimes it's still not enough when he's on antibiotics. So, I'm wondering if I should add Visbiome to his routine alongside the others. I thought about giving Visbiome in the morning and the other probiotics (Saccharomyces Boulardii or Nexabiotic) at night. Is it okay to give two different probiotics at different times, especially when he's on antibiotics? Please let me know. Thank you.?
