Excellent product for pets with IBD
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets Unflavored, 30 PacketsAmos has chronic IBD. He requires a daily dose of a probiotic. I chose this product because it was unflavored and the dosage was high enough that he only needs it one time a day instead of three times a day. Received the product in a timely manner and it was a competitive price. Highly recommend will continue to use.-

Best Probiotic we've used…
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets 80 Capsules (2X40ct)We swear by this stuff. One of our dog's internal med specialist switched us to this for his IBS. Sadly, he is no longer with us, but we use it when our other dogs have GI issues. It resolves them in maybe two days, as opposed to the five or more without it. We like the capsules, as opposed to some powder you add to the food. The dogs don't taste it and I can put it in a pull pocket if I need to. It's just an easier way to dose. -
Fast, climate controlled shipping
From UndisclosedComments about Visbiome Vet Probiotic for Pets 80 Capsules (2X40ct)Recommended by my vet. Shipped climate controlled overnight, which is very important with a high-quality probiotic. Here will inactivate the bacterial strains.

My cat has ibd and is currently taking 5 mg of prednisolone twice daily. She is also going through a stretch of serious diarrhea. I started her on Visbiome Vet Probiotic 1 cap daily 5 days ago and seems that her diarrhea has gotten worse. I give it to her for dinner w/ her food and her pred within an hour.?
-
Nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea are possible side effects of prednisolone. Visbiome may also cause an upset stomach, and for these reasons, it is recommended that both medications be given with food. The concern with prolonged and/or worsening diarrhea is dehydration. In your case, it is strongly recommended that you contact your veterinarian, to ensure your cat isn’t losing too many fluids.
