- I'm not a vet but I did look at a lot of published academic research papers on the active ingredient before giving us to my cat. From what I read, Renaltec is this company's name for carbon60 fullerene. Fullerene can be phototoxic and degrade in the presence of light fairly quickly so I personally discard any food with porus one after 1 hour. I only give one packet a day, even though my cat eats six times, because the box does have an overdose warning and recommends one packet.

- The same with my cat! She's always been a picky eater. And now with CKD she eats just a little of the dry food she likes but maybe 4-5 times a day. She absolutely refused her food when I put the Porus One in it. So I tried mixing a packet with some water (doesn't dissolve very much) and giving it with a syringe — that was a nightmare! We both ended up wearing it. I'm thinking maybe getting some capsules and try putting this stuff in them and then see if I can get them down her. Has anyone ever done this?
