The manufacturer recommends applying 1 drop per affected eye every 2 days. With eye injuries, the heparan sulfates found naturally in the eye do not function properly. My vet prescribed EMS for my Chiweenie. He has an eye ulcer. Vet RX Direct offers the product for a lesser price then my Vet and although the ulcer is much better, he needs another dose. I'm happy to find Vet RX Direct and will be ordering form you again...I'm sure.

After 2 diamond burr treatments with a non healing ulcer, Charlie's vet gave her a sample of this EMS. We used every 2 days and after 3 weeks Charlie's eye was completely healed. One happy frenchie mom here!

Optixcare eye ems has been out of stock for a while. I have tried several other pet pharmacies online and even one in my neighborhood. They are all saying out of stock or on backorder for weeks now. Do you know what is the issue behind this? Is it a manufacturer issue or trade issues with Canada (where it is made) ??
