  • Administer this drug to your animal’s eye in the exact amount that your veterinarian has prescribed.

  • Keep the cap on when not in use.
  • Wait 5 minutes after applying the Cidofovir Eye Drops before applying any other eye medications.
  • Wear gloves and wash your hands before and after handling the medication.
  • If any residue is left on your animal’s face after giving the eye drops, gently wipe it off with a damp cloth or tissue.
  • For at least 20 to 30 minutes after application, prevent your cat and other animals from licking or grooming the treated eye.
