What problems could my dog have with Zenrelia?
- Dogs should be up to date on vaccinations prior to starting Zenrelia.
- Due to the risk of serious reactions, discontinue Zenrelia for at least 28 days to 3 months prior to any vaccination and withhold Zenrelia for at least 28 days after any vaccination.
- Because ilunocitinib suppresses the immune system, dogs should be monitored for the development of infections.
- Zenrelia is not for use in dogs with serious infections.
- The safe use of Zenrelia has not been evaluated in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs.
- The most common side effects are vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy.
How is Zenrelia used for dogs?
- Follow your veterinarian's directions for using this medication.
- Dogs may use Apoquel for different lengths of time. Please consult your veterinarian if you have any questions.
- Zenrelia may be given with or without food.
