My Bichon Frise weighs 17 pounds. How much of this supplement would he get daily??
-
The manufacturer recommends giving 1 chew per 30lbs of weight, so dogs weighing up to 30lbs should get 1 chew daily. Dogs 30-60lbs would get 2 chews daily, dogs 60-90lbs would get 3 chews daily, and so on. Vetriscience Laboratories package insert for Vetri-Cardio Canine recommends giving 1 chew per 30 lbs of body weight once daily. If your dog weighs 17 pounds, give ½ chew daily.

Have there been any reports of this product causing nausea in small dogs (around 10lbs).Thanks?
-
Joseph, There have been no reports via the manufacturer. They do warn that dogs consider them treats and if an accidental overdose would occur, you should contact your veterinarian. Could this be a possible cause? Otherwise, if your dog does not improve, please consult your veterinarian for further evaluation. Thank you, VetRxDirect
