So far so good...stay tuned....
From New JerseyComments about Vetri Cardio CanineI ordered VetriCardio canine based on the research I did after I found out that my 10 year old Doberman Valdo had dilated cardiomyopathy. In addition the Vetrin, enalapril, and furosemide, I am also giving Valdo supplements to help strengthen his heart muscle and improve blood flow. I am hoping that a combination of conventional and holistic medicine with work to give me a few more months with my boy. Will report back again in a couple of months. Once again, VetRxDirect gave me the best price and shipped quickly. I have three large elderly dogs that are all on medications. The bills add up. I thank the stars for VetRxDirect. -
My Dog Loves these
From Punta Gorda, FLComments about Vetri Cardio CanineThis was recommended by my Vet for my dog Hershey who has an enlarged heart. I am hoping that this product will strengthen her heart and keep her alive and well for as long as possible. I use this product along with Vetmedin which dilates the arteries to allow blood to flow more freely and also with Omega 3 Fish oil to help thin her blood for the same reason.-

My Bichon Frise weighs 17 pounds. How much of this supplement would he get daily??
-
The manufacturer recommends giving 1 chew per 30lbs of weight, so dogs weighing up to 30lbs should get 1 chew daily. Dogs 30-60lbs would get 2 chews daily, dogs 60-90lbs would get 3 chews daily, and so on. Vetriscience Laboratories package insert for Vetri-Cardio Canine recommends giving 1 chew per 30 lbs of body weight once daily. If your dog weighs 17 pounds, give ½ chew daily.

Have there been any reports of this product causing nausea in small dogs (around 10lbs).Thanks?
-
Joseph, There have been no reports via the manufacturer. They do warn that dogs consider them treats and if an accidental overdose would occur, you should contact your veterinarian. Could this be a possible cause? Otherwise, if your dog does not improve, please consult your veterinarian for further evaluation. Thank you, VetRxDirect
