  • TrizCHLOR contains chlorhexidine and TrizEDTA to reduce bacteria on the skin and combat biofilms.

What problems could my animal have with TrizCHLOR?

  • For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
  • If skin irritation develops or increases, stop use and call your veterinarian.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets. 
  • Wash your hands after use. Rare but serious allergic reactions have been reported in some people with exposure to chlorhexidine gluconate.

How are Dechra TrizCHLOR products used?

  • Use all products as directed by your veterinarian.

TrizCHLOR Flush

  • Shake well before each use.
  • For use as an ear flush, apply to the ear canal and gently, but firmly, massage the base of the ear.
  • For use on skin, squeeze flush over affected area. Use a cotton ball to remove excess solution.
  • Repeat as necessary or as directed by your veterinarian. Close cap tightly.

TrizCHLOR 4 Mousse

  • Shake well before each use.
  • Apply to dry coat. Dispense one or two pumps in your palm. Massage foam deep into pet’s hair coat to ensure product reaches the skin. Repeat as many times as necessary to cover the whole body or affected areas, as directed by your veterinarian. Avoid the eyes and mouth. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Once dry, brush the hair coat.

TrizCHLOR 4 Shampoo

  • Shake well before each use. Apply to wet coat. Rub onto skin and haircoat until lightly lathered. Allow shampoo to remain on skin and coat for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse well. May be used daily or as directed by veterinarian.

 TrizCHLOR 4 Spray Conditioner

  • Shake well before each use. For dry application, apply directly to the skin and haircoat and allow to dry. For wet application or after shampooing, remove excess moisture and apply directly to skin and haircoat. Use as often as desired or as directed by your veterinarian.

TrizChlor 4 Wipes

  • Apply to affected area as directed by your veterinarian.

  • Shake well before each use. For dry application - apply directly to skin and haircoat and allow to dry. For wet application or after shampooing - remove excess moisture and apply directly to skin and haircoat. Use 1-3 times weekly or as directed by veterinarian.
