Telmisartan is a medication for treatment of systemic hypertension and proteinuria. This medication is often prescribed extra-label by veterinarians for dogs and cats with hypertension and/or proteinuria. Common side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, low energy level, anemia, dehydration, and low blood pressure (fainting, weakness, inability to exercise). If you feel your dog is experiencing any of these adverse effects, it is recommended that you discuss these findings with your veterinarian and follow their advice.

Telmisartan 20 mg - website shows that you carry this but under Product Description, there is not anything about the drug. Please give a description - especially concerning whether or not this tablet is scored. I have to give 1/4 pill daily to my dog and it's extremely difficult to cut without being scored. Thanks?
