This product has helped my pets
From UndisclosedComments about Rx D3 Forte, 2ozI use Rx D3 Forte because it is extra strength and needs fewer drops to administer correct dosage. Both my dogs were low in Vitamin D and my vet recommended taking this product. The price is very good here. No prescription needed. I put the drops right on top of their evening meal. Very convenient. Vitamin D also needs to be periodically checked by vet to make sure proper dosage is administered.

After testing, the lab recommended 2000 IU/day (0.75 on the dropper) for my dog, however the measurement on the dropper of 0.75 contains 30 drops which would be 3000 IU/day. Stick with the 20 drops to be sure??
-
The Rx D3 contains 100 IU per drop. To achieve a dose of 2000 IU/day, 20 drops of the Rx D3 would have to be given. The Rx D3 Forte contains 500 IU per drop. The number of drops of the Rx D3 Forte formulation would be 4 drops to reach 2000 IU/day. Your veterinarian may be able to assist with more specific instructions.
