Quality Bust
From New JerseyComments about Petsmile Professional PetI've used this toothpaste for years but lately there are quality issues. Namely the I've had 2 tubes rupture at the top seam making squeezing the toothpaste without it getting everywhere but on the brush impossible. The 1st time I contacted PetSmile (SuperSmile/Robell Research) they quickly sent me both their apologies and a replacement tube. The 2nd time, not so much. Even escalating to their CEO resulted in no response. This toothpaste is too expensive to have these persistent quality issues and it's hit or miss if the manufacturer will do right by their customers. -
Now a believer
From UndisclosedComments about Petsmile Professional PetWe've been using Petsmile toothpaste on two dogs for a good three months. Our little Rat terrier (rescue) was fearful of everything, cringed when I approached, would go spastic when I tried to open her mouth. Well, we've had her now for little over two and one-half years, and readily accepts brushing (although not all sections of her mouth), tries to lick this toothpaste before I can even apply to the brush. It does appear to be reducing plaque! -
I will buy again.
From UndisclosedComments about Petsmile Professional PetI am using and it cleans my chihuahuas teeth better than any other toothpaste. -
Will never stop buying!
From undisclosedComments about Petsmile Professional PetThis product is the only dog toothpaste tested and approved by the VOHC. (Vet Oral Health Council). I have used this product for about 4 years upon the recommendation of my Vet. My Westie just turned 6 and has never had his teeth cleaned. I use about 2 tubes a year because I foster. -

Do you only use a swab with the pet smile toothpaste or do you actually brush the teeth with a brush and then use a swab??

According to the manufacturer, for best results, they recommend brushing your pet's teeth with a toothbrush or using PetSmile Applicator swabs once or twice a day.
