What is PetPrevea Plus for dogs and cats?

  • PetPrevea Plus is a convenient, long-lasting, and easy to apply topical pesticide for cats and dogs. One tube gives coverage of fleas, ticks and lice for one month!

Why is PetPrevea Plus given to cats and dogs?

  • PetPrevea Plus is a preventative medication that kills fleas, ticks, flea eggs, chewing lice and flea larve.
  • PetPrevea Plus also prevents flea re-infestation for 1 month even after bathing or water immersion.

What else should I know about PetPreava Plus?

  • After treatment, the dog or cat should be separated from other animals for 24 hours. Avoid bathing for 48 hours after treatment
  • Do not use in kittens or puppies under 8 weeks of age or under 1.5lbs for kittens and under 5lbs in puppies.
  • Wash hands immediately after applying the product thoroughly with soap and water.
  • Keep away from children and pets. Do not ingest, get in eyes or on skin/clothing. Seek medical advice if any of those occur.

What problems could my dog or cat have with PetPrevea Plus?

  • Skin irritation such as redness, scratching, or other signs of discomfort are possible.
  • Gastrointestinal upset, such as vomiting and diarrhea, has been reported.

How do you use PetPrevea Plus?

  • Use as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Ensure pet is dry. Remove one tube, hold in an upright position away from your face and remove the cap. Turn the cap upside down and place on top of tube, pushing down to break the seal. Position the tip of the tube in between the shoulder blades, using the tip to part the fur. Squeeze and empty entire contents of tube in a single spot for cats or in a stripe down the back towards the tail for dogs.
  • Dosing is repeated monthly.
