This medication is best for my pets.
From UndisclosedComments about NexGard Chewables 60.1-121 lbs, 6 Month Supplyi purchased the Nex Gard chewable because every month I would worry about my cat getting sick from the flea and tick medicine I was using. It was toxic to cats and because they are so close together every day it made sense to get the chewable for the protection of my cat. Plus it is easy to use. My dog thinks its a treat. LOL -

Can Nexgard and Heartgard be compounded into a liquid for monthly dosing? Also, can Vetoryl be compounded into a liquid? My dog is elderly with missing teeth. What is the additional cost? Thank you for respondiing.?
-
Unfortunately, VetRxDirect does not compound Nexgard or Heartgard into oral liquids. VetRxDirect does offer a compounded Trilostane oral suspension containing the same active ingredient found in the Vetoryl capsules. The cost for the oral suspension will vary depending on the concentration you need and the quantity you order. The compounded Trilostane oral suspension is a medication that needs to be stored at room temperature and shaken well before each administration. It is recommended to speak with your veterinarian on methods of administration for oral medications that your dog may have issues consuming due to age.
