Potassium Bromide
From Bowie, MDComments about K-BroVet (Potassium Bromide) Oral SolutionThis was the best price I could find on the Internet for the Potassium Bromide-ordered to replace the Phenobarbital our Airedale Sampson is taking. We received the prescription promptly, professional packaged, with instructions as directed by our vet. So far so good!! No seizures as we wean Sampson off of the Phenobarbital, and he is less sedated than he normally is following a dose of Phenobarbital. We're very pleased with the service we recieved. -

Great value and service
From Santa Clarita, CA, USAComments about K-BroVet (Potassium Bromide) Oral SolutionGoofy, my Portuguese Water Dog (rescue) was having seizures when I adopted him. For years I purchased K-BroVet from 800PetMeds until they DOUBLED their prices last year. I tried VetRX and was thrilled. Their prices were fantastic and the delivery service quite good. They called my new vet for prescription verification and sent the meds right out. Excellent service and the same meds I got from the vet and 800PetMeds.-

Is 250 mg of tablet potassium bromide equal to 1 ml liquid form??
-
Holly, The commerically available KBrovet oral solution is 250mg/mL, so one 250mg tablet would be equal in strength to 1 milliliter of the oral suspension. We also compound potassium bromide in a variety of capsule and liquid strengths, to assist in easier dosing. Thank you, VetRxDirect

-
Do you have these in 100 mg ??
-
Fred, PRN, the manufacturer for K-BroVet, does not produce the potassium bromide in any strengths other than those listed on the website - 250mg, 500mg, and the liquid in a concentration of 250mg/mL. We do compound potassium bromide in a variety of other strengths, including 100mg capsules. These can be found doing a search for potassium bromide on our website; there will be compounded suspensions and capsules. Thank you, VetRxDirect
