Excellent product. Many uses for your fur baby.
My husband and I have 5 rescues, our oldest was recently diagnosed with renal failure and our youngest has a very sensitive stomach. We mix a little into soft food on a regular basis. It smells just like chicken bouillon and I'm guessing that is what entices my oldest to eat (for her we use it to get her to eat more do she gets enough calories). It's also solved a lot of the sensitive stomach issues for our youngest. We don't use a whole packet per day, just a little sprinkle in with some soft food or on top of some very low sodium tuna (Starkist brand - about 2 tablespoons). Our vet was kind enough to let us sample it at first, now we buy it by the box.

Didn't do much for my cat
My kitten of 6 month has been having diarrhea ever since I got him, my vet suggests that the food he was on was too rich and he has a very sensitive tummy. So we tried switching his food to a vet recommended special diet and added fortiflora to his food everyday. He didn't seem to improve much, his diarrhea was still runny its been 2 weeks. The first thing in the ingredients is animal digest, I understand it's probably there to promote eating, but I'm not sure if that's helping with my kitten who's suppose to be on a very strict diet. One thing that baffled me was that this only had one strain of bacteria, and there was no guaranteed analysis of how much bacteria culture is in each pouch. I'm not giving this product a negative review solely because it didn't help my cat, there might be other underlying problems, but I'm just very disappointed that a product suggested by a vet was this low of quality. Now I won't know if probiotics is not helping because my cat has some other health problem or if it's because there's not enough bacteria culture in fortiflora (since I have no idea how much there is) and not enough variety.

Works
From UndisclosedComments about Hydra Care 30 SachetsI have a French Bulldog, and anyone who owns one knows they are little hoover machines and like to eat anything and everything. We were having some gut issues with her and my Veterinarian recommended putting her on this probiotic. She's been on it for about 6 months and safe to say our gut problems are down to just here and there! She also loves the taste! -

Hydra-Care is Helping Our Cat
From UndisclosedComments about Hydra Care 12 SachetsOur cat loves this Hydra-Care, which was recommended by our Vet. It's helping her to stay hydrated and to use her litter box more often, which is much healthier for her. It's also a terrific way of delivering medications to her, since the flavor of the Hydra-Care masks the flavor of the medication.-
Phineas loves her Hydra-Care!

Genuinely Improved Quality of Life for My Anxious Pet
From Fairbanks, AKComments about Hydra CareAfter several months of daily use, I never want my girl to go without this again. She's always been a very high-strung, anxious, and easily over-stimulated dog, and I've tried literally dozens of products over the years to try and help her. This is the only one that's had a consistent, noticeable effect on her behavior. Before starting on calming care, she was such a handful that I would often joke about her ruining my life. She barked at every tiny noise, followed me around the house like an overzealous bodyguard, and though she's always loved other dogs, I had to be incredibly careful about allowing her to play with them, because she would get carried away and overstimulated until regular play escalated into a fight. Human visitors coming to our house caused her to become so hysterically excited that I'd have to sit and pet her continually for as long as they stayed, because if I stopped, she'd spend the duration of their visit frantically trying to climb onto their lap, licking and nibbling at their faces and occasionally punching them in the gut with her giant puppy feet. After about two weeks of giving her Calming Care, I began to see a gradual, but noticeable reduction in these behaviors. Within two months she was practically a normal dog. Don't get me wrong, she's still my crazy, hyper, silly girl, but the nervous energy that used to constantly pour off of her is largely gone, and she's happier for it. The incessant barking has finally ceased, she plays nicely with other dogs, and behaves (mostly) appropriately when people come over. She doesn't hyperventilate during car rides or try to charge through my front window every time someone walks by my house. The bottom line? This will not magically turn a hyper, high-energy dog into a couch potato, but if your pet is displaying anxious, unsettled behaviors, it should help them feel better. It's worked wonderfully for my dog, and I absolutely recommend trying it. -
