Excellent product. Many uses for your fur baby.
My husband and I have 5 rescues, our oldest was recently diagnosed with renal failure and our youngest has a very sensitive stomach. We mix a little into soft food on a regular basis. It smells just like chicken bouillon and I'm guessing that is what entices my oldest to eat (for her we use it to get her to eat more do she gets enough calories). It's also solved a lot of the sensitive stomach issues for our youngest. We don't use a whole packet per day, just a little sprinkle in with some soft food or on top of some very low sodium tuna (Starkist brand - about 2 tablespoons). Our vet was kind enough to let us sample it at first, now we buy it by the box.

MIRACLE POWDER
I was at my witts end until my vet suggested this to me after a 3rd visit with my 3 legged fluffa - who happens to be a maine coon cat with long hair. Due to his hind leg being gone he has trouble burying his stuff. He had had loose stools ever since i found him which was getting worse. Within 2 to 3 feedings his stools returned to normal. This was such a god send- trying to clean his bottom and furr was very unpleasant. It has no smell and is much less stressful on the pet than trying to get a pill down. Highly suggest this.

Some cats are crazy for the flavor, but mine are indifferent
From undisclosedComments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsMy cats were crazy about this at first, but soon became indifferent. I bought it as an appetite stimulant for kidney disease cats. My sisters two heathy cats love it sprinkled on their dinner. -
Cats love.

I would absolutely continue to buy ths product!
From undisclosedComments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsMy vet suggested that I use Fortiflora around 6 years ago, after my girl had a serious bout of colitis. I have given Honey one packet per day and it really does keep her bowels in good working order.......especially more important now since she just had her twelfth birthday and is a pretty big girl. Would I stop using it? No, I really don't want to take the chance of her gut getting out of whack again......I trust this product and feel that it has helped maintain good gastrointestinal health. -
Best thing you can give your dog!
From undisclosedComments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsYour dog needs this if he/she has diarrhea, very soft stools, excessive gas and your vet has examined the dog and cleared him/her of other health problems. If antibiotics, dietary changes, stress, persistent and periodic digestive issues are making you and your pet miserable, try this product for 30 days. You will soon know if this product will help your dog or not. Stop changing dog food every week according to what's on sale and give the dog a chance to adjust to some good pet food and daily FortiFlora mixed with the food. You and your dog will be glad you did. -
Been using this for a while
From Los Angeles, CAComments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsWe've been using this along with some other medications to keep my dog's IBD at bay. Seems to be helping and I am thankful because she was very sick for a long time. -
I Use this item everyday for my dog.
From Henderson,NVComments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsI love this product and it works great. I am a first time dog owner. My dog was born with a sensitive GI tract and this product works great for her. I highly recommend this product. I have two pets but my dog is the only one that uses this item and needs it. -
Excellent digestive supplement
From Bethpage, NYComments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsProbiotics are a good addition to any dog's diet, and with one dog who sometimes has stomach issues, this has been a life saver for us. It minimizes soft stool and upset stomach and provides daily health benefits. The single packet dose means no extra time measuring, and the powder mixes into food easily -- plus, both my dogs seem to like the taste. The price on this item recently skyrocketed 30-35% pretty much everywhere, and with no explanation -- with no real discounts even for a volume purchase. This was an excellent deal for a six-pack purchase. -
Great Stuff!
From NCComments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsWe have 9 cats and most of our cats won't eat their food without probiotics on it. We bought it originally for our cat who has chronic URI's and is on antibiotics all the time. Probiotics help to provide the good bacteria in her gut that the antibiotics can kill off and keep her stomach and intestines healthy while at the same time trying to keep her upper respiratory healthy too. Once my other cats got a taste of the probiotics they wanted to have it on their moist meal too! -
I will always use this product for my dogs.
From Lester, Pa.Comments about FortiFlora Probiotic for DogsAge can bring on intestinal changes. Fortiflora seems to be working well for my 12 yr. old mix dog . We can all use probiotics. Additional fiber also helps. -
Good stuff.

FortiFlora is a probiotic and contains no active medications, so your cat will not overdose. According to the manufacturer, the primary concern would be your cat ingesting the packaging materials (e.g. box, tape). have a rescue puppy and they gave us fortiflora to use but the packet is for feline..can puppy use this or do need one for canine/?
-
Belle, The FortiFlora feline and canine products contain the same ratio of nutritional components such as protein, fat, and fiber as well as the same inactive ingredients. Also, the same microorganism, Enterococcus faecium, is used at the same concentration for both products. The two FortiFlora products appear to be the same based on the information provided by the manufacturer. Your puppy's veterinarian may have additional information on the product so we do recommend contacting him or her for further advice. Thank you, VetRxDirect
