From UndisclosedComments about Denamarin TabletsThe vet prescribed this medication for my nine year old dog. He has been feeling better since he started taking these tablets as directed on the box. Since I recently added a canine nutritional supplement he is back to being the active happy dog he was before he was diagnosed with liver problems. I would highly recommend this product as prescribed by your dog's vet. -
Best for Liver Support!
From UndisclosedComments about Denamarin TabletsOur dog Cricket has PLE as well as Stage 3 Lymphoma. She takes Denamarin each and every day. Cricket has diminished liver function not only because of her disease, but also because of the 7 months of chemotherapy she has had and the two plus years of multiple daily medications she takes to keep her diseases at bay. Denamarin has really helped her. She takes it gladly each morning with a little pumpkin. I am glad that Vet RX Direct has it available to us for a good price with always speedy delivery!-

According to the manufacturer, the company will not release the names of the inactive ingredients in order to prevent production of counterfeit products. My dog has been taking Denamarin tablets for the past 4 yrs. She has just recently started to vomit the tablet, up to 8 hrs after taking it. It appears as though it is not getting absorbed. I have tried giving it to her in the chewable form, and that seems to be working. Is this a common problem???
-
Frequent vomiting is not commonly reported with Denamarin tablets. The manufacturer reports that the active ingredients in Denamarin have been shown to be well-tolerated by both dogs and cats with a wide margin of safety. Please follow up with your veterinarian as this symptom may indicate a different underlying issue.
