Each drop of Clindamycin Hydrochloride contains the powerful antibiotic clindamycin, which is effective against a range of susceptible bacteria that cause infections in dogs and cats. Veterinarians prescribe Clindamycin Hydrochloride drops to treat serious skin and soft tissue infections, as well as dental infections and inflammation of the bone marrow and tissue adjacent to the bone. This medication is also recommended to treat some infections caused by protozoa including toxoplasmosis. The liquid preparation can be dosed directly or added to food.
