Excellent product. Many uses for your fur baby.
My husband and I have 5 rescues, our oldest was recently diagnosed with renal failure and our youngest has a very sensitive stomach. We mix a little into soft food on a regular basis. It smells just like chicken bouillon and I'm guessing that is what entices my oldest to eat (for her we use it to get her to eat more do she gets enough calories). It's also solved a lot of the sensitive stomach issues for our youngest. We don't use a whole packet per day, just a little sprinkle in with some soft food or on top of some very low sodium tuna (Starkist brand - about 2 tablespoons). Our vet was kind enough to let us sample it at first, now we buy it by the box.

Didn't do much for my cat
My kitten of 6 month has been having diarrhea ever since I got him, my vet suggests that the food he was on was too rich and he has a very sensitive tummy. So we tried switching his food to a vet recommended special diet and added fortiflora to his food everyday. He didn't seem to improve much, his diarrhea was still runny its been 2 weeks. The first thing in the ingredients is animal digest, I understand it's probably there to promote eating, but I'm not sure if that's helping with my kitten who's suppose to be on a very strict diet. One thing that baffled me was that this only had one strain of bacteria, and there was no guaranteed analysis of how much bacteria culture is in each pouch. I'm not giving this product a negative review solely because it didn't help my cat, there might be other underlying problems, but I'm just very disappointed that a product suggested by a vet was this low of quality. Now I won't know if probiotics is not helping because my cat has some other health problem or if it's because there's not enough bacteria culture in fortiflora (since I have no idea how much there is) and not enough variety.

Keeping Pup Healthy
From UndisclosedComments about Calming Care 90 Chewable TabletsOur vet recommended Fortiflora for our pup's gut health, she has some allergies and a sensitive tummy. We drop a chewable in her food once a day and she gobbles it right up! Glad this comes in a 90 tab supply so we don't have to order very frequently. #sweepstakes-

Great Product for My Dog's Gut Health
From Chicago IllinoisComments about Calming CareMy dog has a delicate gut. He is allergic to chicken. He always suffered from stomach aches. He would lean forward like a vulture and pace around. My vet suggested this product and he is feeling so much better. He is perky again and he doesn't have that bloat which was visual. He is so happy now and so am I. It's hard to know when your dog does not feel good. They can't tell you. You really have to watch their behavior. I am so happy with this product. -
Highly recommended by vet!

This medication has helped my dog a lot!
From UndisclosedComments about Calming Care Canine Probiotic, 45 Sachets, 6-Week SupplyI bought Fortiflora Calming Care at the recommendation of our DVM at Iowa State University, I hopes it would help with her IBD and her very picky eating habit. We've used it now for almost two weeks and I am so grateful for this product, which has made a noticeable difference for my beautiful dog, not to mention her human parent's life too.-

Good stuff
From UndisclosedComments about Calming Care 12 SachetsHappy seems to like it. Not as enthusiastic as he was when he first tried it, but he's just like that. I think I'll probably still give him his fluids occasionally, because he doesn't always finish the whole pouch, but I'm glad to have it for him.-

Hydra-Care is Helping Our Cat
From UndisclosedComments about Calming Care 12 SachetsOur cat loves this Hydra-Care, which was recommended by our Vet. It's helping her to stay hydrated and to use her litter box more often, which is much healthier for her. It's also a terrific way of delivering medications to her, since the flavor of the Hydra-Care masks the flavor of the medication.-

Hello, I have been reading up on giving cats with suppressed immune systems probiotics and most say you should not. It also says the same with humans. My vet told me to give it, but I think her immune system is compromised due to long term use of prednisolone (due to intestinal cancer) since she now has what seems to be a cold. I think I am probably making matters worse. What is your opinion? Now I have no idea what to give her for diarrhea. Thank you.?

Can FortiFlora be given with Tylan powder??
-
FortiFlora can be given to balance a dog's digestive system, reducing stomach upset and diarrhea. FortiFlora may help dogs while they are taking antibiotics like Tylan powder, as antibiotics could potentially cause loose stools or diarrhea. There are no known drug interactions between these two products, so they may be given together. Thank you, VetRxDirect
