Emeraid IC Omnivore and Bene-bac have kept my parrot alive.
From UndisclosedComments about Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel, 0.53oz (15g) SyringeMy 22 yr old pet parrot came down with a virus, what was called PDD, now named ABV/AGV. He would not be alive today without VerRX's Emeraid IC Omnivore, mixed with lower protein handfeeding formulas, and the addition of probiotics like Bene-bac Plus. It's helped to keep him alive for three years after he stopped eating. -

Is this the same as the Benazepril, 5mg tablets she is on now? I need those tablets compounded into a topical gel.?
-
Benazepril is used extra-label or off-label for high blood pressure, heart failure, chronic kidney disease and too much protein in urine in cats and dogs. It requires a prescription from your veterinarian. Bene-Bac Plus is a probiotic supplement containing 7 microorganisms found in the intestinal tract of small mammals. It provides digestive support for changing conditions, including, but not limited to birth, breeding, post-surgery, antibiotic therapy, weaning, worming, showing, boarding and travel. These products are not the same, therefore they are not interchangeable. VetRxDirect does not currently offer a compounded gel version of Benazepril. Please speak to your veterinarian as they will be able to recommend an alternate source for the medication your pet needs.
