How do you use Virbantel?

  • Virbantel may be given with or without food. Follow your veterinarian's directions.

  • A single treatment may be effective or your veterinarian may recommend a second dose 2 to 4 weeks after the first dose.
  • Manufacturer's suggested dosing: Dogs 6 to 12 lbs, give one 30 mg tablets. Dogs 12.1 to 25 lbs, give two 30 mg tablets. Dogs 25.1 to 50 lbs, give one 114 mg tablet. Dogs 50.1 to 100 lbs, give two 114 mg tablets. Dogs 100.1 to 150 lbs, give three 114 mg tablets. Dogs 150.1 to 200 lbs, give four 114 mg tablets.
