VetraSeb +PS Shampoo
VetraSeb+PS is an antiseptic cleansing shampoo for dogs, cats, and horses that is designed to aid in the treatment of certain dermatological conditions. It contains chlorhexidine as an antimicrobial that helps reduce certain bacteria, fungi, and yeast on the skin and help prevent infection. It also includes miconazole as an antifungal and phytosphingosine to promote the natural skin barrier. VetraSeb +PS is available in 8oz and 16 oz bottles. Best Medicated Shampoo!
VetraSeb CM is the best medicated shampoo we have found for our pup. She suffers from sever skin allergy causing yeast to be present on her skin. This turned the skin on legs and underside completely black, most of the hair in these areas was gone, she was continually scratching, and had multiple yeast infections.
We received the shampoo from our vet in San Diego, Grand Animal Hospital. Immediately after use it the itching stopped and within 6 months most of her skin was back to pink and her hair was coming back. After 2 years she was a completely different pup and the few people who knew her when we adopted couldn't be believe the change.
We moved to Phoenix about 6 months ago and could not find this shampoo at any shops or vets so we tried several other shampoos. The results were terrible with the scratching starting almost immediately after her bath for some others would last for at most 3 days. We finally gave up on all the other shampoos and purchase the VetraSeb CM, thanks to Vet Rx Direct. As soon as I finished the first bath I could tell Miss Daisy felt significantly better, she is one happy pup now that we have VetraSeb CM, again.

I guess if you have to...
This was the shampoo our vet recommended to treat our pup's condition. Unfortunately, the directions state it should be left in for 10 minutes during bathing. This makes using it a bit impractical, as we don't usually spend 10 minutes with our dogs wet in the tub during the winter - seems a little harsh.

Sensitive Skin Saver

Immediate relief for allergy skin symptoms

When she starts to break out, we bathe her 2-3 times a week and it really calms things down. We leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse well. After she's clear, we go to 1 bath a week. It really works great and doesn't dry her out.
