• Marshmallow Root (Althaea offi cinalis) & Corn Silk contain polysaccharides that can help support optimal bladder and UT function. Cranberry and Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) act synergistically to acidify the urine which helps dissolve stones.
• Chanca Piedra (Phyllanthus niruri) helps support the break up of kidney and bladder stones.
• L-Methionine is an essential amino acid that supports kidney funtion, SAMe production, healthy liver function, and acidiï¬ es the urine. Lactobacillus acidophilus balances gut fl ora and intestinal pH.

For dogs less than 15 lbs, give 1/2 tablet daily. If giving more than 1 tablet daily, divide amount between AM & PM.

Cautions: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. UT Strength Canine has been formulated to support urinary tract health andcan be used long term with those dogs who are predisposed to infections andcrystals.
Ingredients of Interest:
D-Mannose is a natural occurring simple sugar that removes “bad” bacteria by attachment and voiding. It’s absorbed eight times slower than glucose and, when ingested, is not converted to glycogen or stored in the liver but, rather, goes directly into the blood stream from the kidneys to the bladder. The bacteria displaced by Mannose is responsible for 80-90% of UTIs, whereas antibiotic treatment may cause an imbalance in the normal flora.
N-Acetyl Glucosamine or NAG is an important form of glucosamine found in the body. It is the form that is used for the production of glycoproteins. The glycoprotein layer in the mucosal lining of the urinary tract has a high content of NAG. This layer of mucosal cells is the protective barrier against acids and bacteria, and it is replaced every 3-4 days. Due to this high cell turnover rate the G.I. tract requires increased amounts of NAG to support structural integrity and functionality.

UT Strength Everyday for cats
From Pennsylvania, USAComments about UT StrengthI have been using these chews twice a day (1 chew in the AM & PM) for my male cats, in addition to feeding them canned food, to help prevent UT/bladder problems. My cats readily eat these chews and I do believe they help to keep my cats' ph level more acidic. In combination with the canned food, I believe this is why my male cats have not experienced any UT/bladder problems to date.

Why is this product contraindicated for us in dogs with or prone to oxalate stones? If one has not been able to verify presence of stones through urinalysis and x-rays, are there any reasons to not take this product? Will it help with UTI in a dog??

UT Strengthy is contraindicated in use for dogs with/prone to stones due to the ingredients of cranberry juice extract and ascorbic acid, as these components when excreted can increase the risk of oxalate stones. In addition, UT strength has potential hypotensive and hypoglycemic effects. It is best to consult with your veterinarian before using this medication.

UT Strength is a supplement used to support proper urinary tract health in cats and dogs. UT Strength is reported to help maintain proper urinary tract function, reduce the likelihood of crystal and stone formation, and support immune system function. UT Strength would not be recommended as monotherapy for incontinence in dogs. A proper diagnosis is required by your veterinarian to ensure the proper drug, dose and treatment plan are initiated. My cat is diabetic. I notice there is Mannose in this product which says it is a natural sugar. Was wondering if these chews would affect his blood glucose.?
