Great Price and Savings over Vet Office
My boston terrier has bad ears! I usually buy this through my vet, and decided to look online instead. I bought the big bottle and paid less than at my vet for a small bottle. I am never shopping anywhere else for my Sirrus.

Pay attention to crystal and aqueous
I didn't know this is the crystal type. Thought it came as liquid.

Great for swimmers
From UndisclosedComments about TrizEDTA Aqueous Flush, 4oz BottleMy mini golden doodle loves to swim making him susceptible to ear infections. Trizedta aqueous ear flush helps to prevent infection. We use it to flush the ears after swimming. It doesn't contain alcohol like other ear cleaners so it doesn't burn my little guys ears. -

From UndisclosedComments about TrizEDTA Aqueous Flush, 4oz BottleOur vet advised me to purchase this item with Vet RX Direct because it's more affordable. I've only put this product on my cat's ears a couple times and they're already clearing up!!! -
Ear wash does the job
From UndisclosedComments about TrizEDTA Aqueous Flush, 4oz BottleThis was recommended by my vet, but they would've sold it to me for almost three times the price, so very pleased to have found it here. It works great to keep my darling Sasha's ears clean so we can avoid another ear infection. :) -

I will definitely keep using this product
From UndisclosedComments about TrizEDTAI was told by our vet. Just fill the ear canal and then let the dog shake her head. This will prevent using a cleaning implement and possibly pushing the dirt and unwanted debris down into the ear canal. It's painless for my girl Kylie. I do it twice a day till the smell of the bacteria is gone, then once or twice a week if needed. -
Great for red burning ears
From UndisclosedComments about TrizEDTAI have a Lab and it's great for cleaning her ears which around this time every year they get inflamed from the rye grass seed. -
Great Ear Product
From undisclosedComments about TrizEDTAMy veterinarian recommended this ear cleanser for my dog that might have a perforated eardrum so that it wouldn't cause any pain while at the same time would do the job and really clean his ears. I have to say that it does work and is gentle enough to use frequently. -

Q & A

I have been using a trizedta aqueous flush that was also for horses (I am using it on a dog, I just know there's a horse on the bottle!)- it also states it is antibiofilm, and i think the ingredient list is slightly different. This flush looks like what the dechra website calls "crystal" flush, but i'm having trouble actually finding the other product on a site i trust. Is this a comparable flush/has it replaced the other aqueous flush??
-
TrizEDTA is a product line of flushes for skin and ear infections involving bacteria. There is a premade flush solution and crystal formulation which is meant to be diluted with water and formed into a solution flush. Per the manufacturer, once the crystal formulation is reconstituted per the label instructions, it is equivalent to the aqueous formulation. Please consult your veterinarian regarding any further questions or concerns regarding this medication in your dog.

What is the difference between a flush product and a regular ear cleaning product such as Triz Ultra?
-
TrizEDTA Flush contains tromethamine and disodium EDTA dihydrate and has an antibacterial effect in the ear. TrizULTRA is only available as "TrizULTRA + Keto Flush", and contains TrizEDTA and ketoconazole for antibacterial and antifungal action. Both of these products are considered ear flushes, and should be used in the same way. The only difference between the TrizEDTA flush and the TrizULTRA + Keto flush is the ketoconazole component of the TrizULTRA + Keto. Talk to your veterinarian to determine which ear flush is best for your pet.

Can I use this product as a flush for a hot spot? It has directions for use on skin, which made me wonder if that would be a good use.?
-
TrizEDTA is used to flush infected areas of the skin and ears. "Hot spots" also known as "acute moist dermatitis" are areas of wet inflammation on the skin that can have many different causes. These include: bacteria, fungus, plant burs, allergies and mites. Some of these cannot be treated by TrizEDTA. Consulting a veterinarian would help identify the cause of the "hot spot" and determine an appropriate treatment. Thank you, VetRxDirect

We have a bassett with Otitis issues as well as yeast in ears. Is the TrizEDTA brand more effective than your Epic-Optic to treat these problems?
-
ThePro, Ear cleansers and pretreatments may help prevent ear infections in some cases, but they are not meant to treat ear infections in dogs. We urge you to seek the advice of your pet's veterinarian for help. Take Care, VetRxDirect

I want to use as an ear flush and also use prior to or with medication for my poodle who suffers with chronic ear infections. What is the difference between these products? Also which of all your TrisEDTA is strongest? Thank you, Karen?
-
Karen, Before using any ear flushes, consult your veterinarian about the best option to use in conjunction with the medication they are prescribing for the ear infections. The TrizEDTA Flush and the TrizEDTA crystals both contain the active ingredient tromethamine USP and disodium EDTA dihydrate; the flush comes ready to use, and the crystals require the addition of distilled water before use. Thank you, VetRxDirect
