  • This medication may be given with or without food. If your animal vomits or acts sick after receiving the drug on an empty stomach, try giving the next dose with food or a small treat. If vomiting continues, contact your veterinarian.
  • Side effects that are common may include vomiting, diarrhea, increased activity, nervousness, increased appetite, increased thirst, and urination. Contact your veterinarian if any of these signs continue or worsen.
  • Side effects that may indicate a serious problem include seizures and collapse. Contact your veterinarian immediately if any of these signs occur.
