ResiKetoChlor Leave-on Lotion
ResiKetoChlor is a prescription topical application for dogs cats, and horses. It contains chlorhexidine an antiseptic, and ketoconazole an antifungal to help reduce bacteria and yeast from adhering on the skin. ResiKetoChlor is non-irritating leave on lotion that does not require rinsing, and uses an encapsulation system that slowly releases the ingredients after application for a longer lasting effect. It also includes chitosanide, a natural protective film for the skin and haircoat that does not leave an oily residue. If your pet has been diagnosed with a skin condition or infection, your veterinarian may prescribe a topical solution such as ResiKetoChlor. Available in 8 oz bottle.

Is it safe if the dog licks the lotion??
-
A representative from the manufacturer advised that the pet does not lick the treated area until the hair is dry. Try keeping your pet occupied for a period of time after application to minimize oral exposure to the medication. When using this product shake well before use and apply after shampooing or wetting the hair coat. It is recommended to massage the lotion well into the skin and hair coat and to wash hands after use. Thank you, VetRxDirect
