17 year old with advanced renal disease
From UndisclosedComments about Rebound Recuperation Formula for Cats, 5.1oz (150mL)My senior cat will be 17 & her kidney disease has been advancing more rapidly. I've been trying different products to help with nutrition & hydration. This formula is highly palatable to her & she readily drinks it. Her eyes are much brighter & coat much shinier. Since I started using she's back to grooming herself regularly. I'm so grateful to this product for allowing me to improve her quality of life. -

Rebound should be in your pantry with the dog food, mine is.
From UndisclosedComments about Rebound Recuperation Formula for Dogs, 5.1oz (150mL)This product has saved me thousands of dollars on Vets bills. My rescue Yorkie, Khloe, who weighs 3.8 lbs, gets 5MLs every night before bed...and any time she isn't eating. She has Addison's Disease and her health can go from great to coma quickly. Khloe gets a steroid shot every 23 days and .4mls every night. Rebound has all the nutrients she needs and it's great for all dogs and the Cat Rebound does the same trick too for cats...-

From UndisclosedComments about ReboundThis is an amazing nutritional supplement. My 15 year old Rat Terrier, Scout, was sick a couple of weeks ago. The vet put him on this and Scout did really well while recuperating. He's doing so well I've decided to keep him on this. His vitality is amazing. -

Excellent product - our dog loves it
From FloridaComments about ReboundOur vet gave us this for our 17-year-old dachshund after she went into renal failure and nearly died. She readily scarfed it down when she wouldn't eat anything else. Taste-wise, Rebound is to dogs like a chocolate milkshake is to humans. They love it! It definitely helped her get over the hump and she's 17 years, 7 months now and still going.
Q & A

I have a 14 year old Chinese crested powder puff that was diagnosed with kidney and heart failure about 18 months ago. He's actually been doing pretty good until 5 days ago. He quit eating and drinking and was so lethargic . My vet suggested Rebound. The first day he ate a bit and he's been drinking every day since but there are a couple days he hasn't eaten. He is urinating and defecating still and going outside but he has got to start eating. The issue is I cannot get the Rebound down Oliver. He fights the syringe so bad, I'm lucky to get 3ml down. He gets so stressed that I'm afraid to hurt him. Any suggestions? I'm not ready to lose Oliver and he's not giving up so I'll fight for him as long as he's fighting. Please advise. TIA?
-
Rebound can be given alone, mixed with water, or added to food. If given without a syringe, it is important to ensure the dog consumes the full quantity. The manufacturer recommends small frequent doses in earlier stages of recuperation. For specific advice based on your dog’s situation or for additional administration tips, please speak with your veterinarian.

It's been said calcium, iron and vitamin d are toxic to dogs. I see it in the ingredients. I've given it to my 5lb chihuahua for two days. Is this gonna be harmful the more I give within the next 5 days??
-
Calcium, Iron, and Vitamin D are all important vitamins and minerals for your dog. As with many vitamins and minerals, extremely high levels can be dangerous for your dog’s health. As long as you use the dosing recommended by the manufacturer on the bottle, toxicity should not be a concern. Please contact your veterinarian if your dog's condition does not improve after consuming this product or if you have any further concerns with the ingredients in this product.

How long is it meant to last? It looks like a small bottle for $14.?
-
Both the dog and cat formulas of Rebound Recuperation are currently made in a 5.1 oz (150ml) bottle. The manufacturer provides an expiration date stamped on the package of Rebound Recuperation. However, once opened, it should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 7 days. How long the bottle will last will vary based on the amount your veterinarian has recommended you administer. The manufacturer’s directions state to give a total daily volume of 3mL/lb, but the exact amount may be adjusted by the veterinarian for the individual animal.

If I put rebound on my puppies kibble but he doesn't eat it all can the kibble sit out until he finishes it(1-2 hours)? Or should the treated kibble go into the fridge??
-
To make sure your puppy gets all of the medication, the formula can be given alone, mixed with water or added to food. The liquid form also allows for tube or syringe feeding. According to the manufacturer there isn’t really a specified time for it to sit out. Instead they recommend breaking up the daily dose and feeding smaller amounts more frequently that way your dog gets the full dose
