This product works great.
From willington ctComments about PhycoxI ran out and Nellie didn't have any for 2 weeks. Once I started giving it to her again within 3 days she wasn't limping. -
Well Worth the Money!
From Vineland, NJComments about PhycoxI have been using this product now for several months for my Senior Great Dane. He has arthritis in one of his knees that at times was quite painful. Within a few weeks of using this product, I noticed a significant difference in my dog. His mobility is much better and pain almost completely gone. I highly recommend this to everyone I can! I originally saw this also work on my friend's Senior Great Dane which is how I became aware of it. -
No Difference...
From Bethany, OklahomaComments about PhycoxI tried this product but haven't seen any improvements in my dog. Maybe yours will be different. -
Great for joints!
From Arizona, USAComments about PhycoxAfter about 2 months on Phycox, I noticed a dramatic difference in my 8 year old Pitt's hips. She can now jump up on the bed where she couldn't do that before. She is also more active and plays more with her 2 year old lab mix brother. -
Phycox chews work great!
From Crossville, TNComments about PhycoxWe have a large German Shepherd, 10 years old, who is in better shape and more active now than he was years ago, thanks to Phycox Chews. We started him on them when he was not moving well, and in pain at times. A number of people told me they had incredible results with similar problems by giving their dogs the chews. They were right! At least for us, they work wonderfully. I am so grateful for them, and absolutely recommend them to anyone who's animal is having joint or bone issues. -
My English mastiff buddy
From Washington, USAComments about PhycoxBig Roo is my sweet baby and he is a 250# English mastiff. But he has a blown knee and because of his size nothing could be done. He was put on medicam and meds just to get him thru each day. Well slowly I have moved him over to phycox max and buddy is acting like a young dog again! Even gets up on my bed again! I can't believe how good he has been feeling since he has been taking phycox!-
Happy n snoozing!

Life changing!
From fort wayneComments about PhycoxAt 2 years old my dog limped so bad for weeks at a time, I thought she had tore a muscle. I found out she had hip dysplasia. I immediately started her on these chews per my vet's recommendation. Once she was on these for a few weeks she hasn't limped since. She has been on these chews for 5 years and it has changed her life. I am so thankful for these!!!! -
Phycox
From Corunna, MIComments about PhycoxI started my pet on this last summer as she is a German Shepherd with hip Dysplasia. If she played ball at all with us she would limp very badly. We now give her 2 chewable Phycox each morning and she is able to play some without limping. The Vet would be happier if we did not play ball with her at all but she is only 5 and she lives to play with her Tennis balls. It really has helped her a lot. She was also limping if she laid on the floor for any length of time. She no longer has that trouble. She is not very keen on the taste however so we have to give our other dog a half of a Phycox each day when she gets hers. If he eats it she will eat it. Yep she is a spoiled brat but we love her to pieces. I am so thankful I found PetRxDirect because this stuff was $60.00 at the vet's office. This is a much more manageable price especially since I have to give 1/4 of the tub to a dog that doesn't need it to get my "patient" to take it. -
Great customer service, Phycox dog supplements

Phycox
From New MexicoComments about PhycoxMy vet recommended this product for an older dog we have who has arthritis. I started to buy it on line. When I ran out once, I decided not to order again, thinking that it wasn't making much difference. Within a week, my dog was having trouble getting up & walking despite the anti-inflammatory meds he is on. I ordered again & have not run out since. It makes a difference for our old dog, Buddy.-

Can this medication be given with other medications such as Tramadol, gabapentin, and Metacam? My GS 11 year old GS is taking these meds at this time.?
-
Yes, there are active ingredients found in the Phycox supplement that behave in a similar fashion to the listed medications. I would PHycox use with these medications unless okayed by veterinarian including additional monitoring.

Does this product have different levels of ingredients for different stages of a dog's life? I have given my dogs Glyco-Flex for years, how is your product different/better? They seem to be very similar.?
-
Phycox is a product that contains natural occurring phycocyanin, which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. This is the main difference between Glyco-Flex and Phycox. Both of these products contain glucosamine to support joint health in dogs. There is not a series of Phycox products that correlate with different stages of a dog's life. This product is advertised to support joint health and decrease inflammation in dogs of all ages. Talk with you veterinarian to determine the best supplement to give your dog. Thank you, VetRxDirect

My 4 year old boxer 68lbs. is on Novox 100mg. She had tightrope surgery last year and her meniscus removed. She currently is taking the Novox 1 per day in halves am pm, along with the phycox 2 per day. Does she need the Novox daily??
-
Novox (carprofen brand) is a NSAID (no n-steroidal anti-inflammatory) drug used to decrease inflammation associated with many conditions like post-surgery and arthritic pain. Your veterinarian has your dog on this medication to reduce pain and swelling. The duration of therapy for taking Novox depends on many factors and is best determined by your veterinarian. Please follow up with your veterinarian for further advice specific to your pet’s condition. Thank you, VetRxDirect

When will this product be available?
-
Phycox has been redone by the manufacterer and is now Phycox One. The chews are of a higher strength now and requires pets to take less chews per day. Thank you, VetRxDirect

-
How do you dispense the granules to your dog??
-
Deb, A common method of administering the Phycox granules is to put the granules over or in with your dog's food. If administering in this way, you do want to ensure that your dog eats their entire meal, or they will not get the full dose. Thank you, VetRxDirect

-
is this the same as phycox by pspc inc.?
-
Jimm, All Phycox is produced by PSPC INC, which was formerly called Pharma Chemie Inc. Phycox is their brand name for their line of glucosamine-based joint support chews and granules. Thank you, VetRxDirect

-
are these 2 meds the samefor 50 mg how many of these does a dog take to make 50 mg per dose?
-
Jess, Phycox is a joint support supplement that comes in soft chews and granules. You should contact your dog's veterinarian to see whether Phycox would be a supplement that would be useful to your dog. It can be ordered over-the-counter and does not require a prescription. Tramadol is a prescription medication, generally indicated for pain relief, and your dog's veterinarian would decide whether tramadol would be appropriate for your dog. Thank you, VetRxDirect
