Works very well for him and my vets also like the fact that it helps keep his liver healthy. Another important aspect is that VetRxDirect is a "VetVipps pharmacy. Novofit and Neutricks are non-prescription, nutritional supplements that contain different active ingredients but do not have any labeled side effects. It was recommended that my dog take NoviSAMe for something to do with her liver. She is a 12 year old mutt, approx. 20kg. I was given 400mg tablets. Does this make sense? She does not have any cognitive issues that I am aware of.?

Sheron, Novifit is an over-the-counter supplement containing SAMe. This supplement is used to help with cognitive dysfunction, behavioral problems, and loss of energy. It is also used to help support liver function for a variety of liver diseases. The recommended dose for dogs is 1 tablet daily (44.1-88 lbs) and 2 tablets daily (88.1 lbs and up). The 400 mg tablet that you are giving your 20 kg (44 lb) dog is an appropriate dose based your pet’s weight. This supplement is typically well tolerated but vomiting may occur. Thank you, VetRxDirect
