How do you use Lax'aire?
- Give as directed by your veterinarian.
- Place a small amount on your pet’s nose or on your cat’s paw to stimulate initial taste interest.
- Manufacturer's suggested use: Cats, give a 1/2 to 1 and 1/2 inch ribbon of ointment daily for 2 to 3 days. Then give a 1/2 to 1 inch ribbon 2 to three times a week. Dogs, give a 1/2 to 2 inch ribbon of ointment 2 to 3 times a week.

Why can't I get this product anywhere anymore? My 20-year-old cat needs a laxative on a regular basis and this is the only one that doesn't make her throw up.?

Use Vaseline until you can get some. Lax aide is made up of petroleum jelly
