This shampoo works!
From Ferndale, MIComments about KetoChlor Medicated ShampooMy shih tzu/min pin mix is 3, and she had horrible greasy patches and extreme flaky skin. My vet said it looked like a fungal/yeast irritation and prescribed this shampoo. Before this, I had tried everything i read on the internet - oatmeal shampoos, adding salmon oil and coconut oil in food, holistic grain-free/potato free food. All that stuff. Nothing worked. THIS SHAMPOO WORKS. I lathered her for 10 minutes, rinsed thoroughly, and air dried her. The NEXT DAY her flakes and grease patches were GONE. My vet also gave antibiotic and anti fungal meds, as well as temaril for itching (which I don't need to use after this bath). I highly recommend, as long as you run it past your vet. I was feeling hopeless, but this shampoo is the real deal. My baby is happy and itch-free. -

Can I still use Frontline plus on my dog if I use this shampoo??
-
Raini, After application of Frontline Plus you can wash your pet or let them swim after 48 hours from application. However, if you are frequently bathing your dog or if your dog swims quite a bit, we would recommend calling your dog’s veterinarian because the overall effectiveness of Frontline Plus may be reduced, and your dog may need more frequent treatments than stated on the drug package insert. If I bathe my dog 2X per week,is K9 Advantage still effective against fleas?
-
Pam, The manufacturer of K9 Advantage II states that the product is waterproof and remains effective following a shampoo treatment, swimming, or after exposure to rain or sunlight. We recommend waiting at least one hour after application of the medication before exposure to water. Thank you, VetRxDirect
