I would buy this product again.
From UndisclosedComments about Vetergen 1% Hydrocortisone Leave on ConditionerThis leave on lotion did help and my dog's hair grew back. She had lost almost all of her hair. But I don't believe it should be used for a very long period of time, because it has cortisone in it. You should check with your vet first depending on the condition of your pet. -

Vet Prescribed for my dog, WORKS GREAT!
From Leander, TexasComments about Vetergen 1% Hydrocortisone Leave on ConditionerFirst - Shampoo pet thoroughly with Relief HC Shampoo, or Chlorhexadine Gluconate 4% Shampoo, and leave in for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Rinse until no foam/suds are present. Blot dry with a towel, leaving hair very moist. Using small amounts of Vetergen 1% Hydrocortisone Leave-On Conditioner on your finger tips; Gently massage through the coat, deep down into the skin. Start on the back of the neck, working towards the tail. Do the sides, belly, legs and feet. Make sure to get the armpits and groin area. Do NOT do the face or get near the eyes. Do NOT allow the pet to lick themselves until they have become fully dry. This takes time and lots of Patience. It is worth it!
