A Miracle Product!!
From Oakland Gardens, NYComments about Duralactin LiquidI never would have known about Duralactin if someone hadn't recommended it. My yorkie is 14 yrs old with arthritis in his back legs - post-surgical in one and osteo- in the other. He was limping so badly that we thought he'd need to be on NSAIDs for the rest of his life, or even see an orthopedist. I couldn't find the Duralactin in liquid form anywhere except for VetRxDirect. I added Duralactin to his diet, along with the glucosamine he was already taking. It has been over a year now, and he rarely limps at all! He can run after his toys and run down the street like a puppy!!

Hello I'm really hoping that you can help me. My 17 yr old female cat has chronic joint pain due to arthritis in her back hips and is currently taking 0.25 ml of Buprenorphine twice a day, that was prescribed to her from her vet. However simply can not afford to continue buying that for her. Is there anything that you can recommend for me to use for her instead? Sorry for the trouble and thank you for your time.?

Duralactin is a joint supplement meant to support joint health in dogs and cats. Duralactin may be given directly or with a small amount of food to help reduce inflammation. If given with food, it is important to ensure that your cat eats all of the medicated food. This is a supplement and not meant to replace treatment for chronic pain. There are a few treatment options for chronic pain in cats. Buprenorphine and drugs in its class (opioid analgesics) are options when treating moderate to severe pain. When trying to choose both the best and the most cost effective treatment option for your pet, please consult your veterinarian. Thank you, VetRxDirect

Do these two supplements basically do the same thing??
-
Kristin, Duralactin is indicated for management of chronic inflammatory conditions in dogs and cat and Rejuvenate Plus is used to improve muscle and joint function. If a pet has inflammatory pain Duralactin may be more effective than Rejuvenate Plus in treating the pain. Neither supplement requires a prescription. Thank you, VetRxDirect
