Stops the runs in their tracks!
From UndisclosedComments about DiaGel 5mL for Large Dogs Over 60lbsThis was recommended to us by our vet instead of using an antibiotic to stop the runs - so we can keep more of the good gut bugs in there! 😄 it works great! Sometimes we need a second dose but usually it's a one and done. We're thankful we found this product. -

According to the manufacturer, DiaGel may be added to your dog’s food as long as they are ingesting it. Be sure that your dog eats all of the food the DiaGel is mixed in otherwise your dog will not receive the full dose.

Can a dog with loose bowels poop out this medicine??
-
DiaGel is specifically indicated for use in dogs with active diarrhea, and would not be rapidly eliminated with loose stools. It can be administered as a preventative before the diarrhea occurs, or as a treatment when it is currently happening. A second syringe may be given if necessary to help control the loose stools if you feel that the first dose is not controlling the stools. DiaGel is designed to reduce diarrhea and stomach upset caused by stress, diet changes, and environmental changes. If your pet is experiencing frequent loose stools, please consult with your veterinarian about the best treatment option for your pet. Thank you, VetRxDirect

My pet store only had DiaGel for kittens/cats up to 6 pounds. Can I give it to my cat that ways 10 pounds??
-
A manufacturer representative stated that two kitten doses of 0.5ml equals the cat dose of 1mL. So doubling the kitten dose for your 10 pound cat is an option.
