What is Atopivet Skin Care for Dogs and Cats?

Atopivet Skin Care Products include a collar, spot-on, and mousse.
Atopivet products help maintain a healthy skin barrier by hydrating and nourishing the skin of dogs and cats.

Why is Atopivet used for Dogs and Cats?

Atopivet Spot-On and Mousse contain a skin barrier lipid and hyaluronic acid that hydrates and renews dry skin and supports the skin barrier.
Atopivet Skin Care Collar contains a skin barrier lipid impregnated throughout the collar that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier for up to 2 months.
Atopivet products may help support allergic skin conditions and reduce itching associated with a compromised skin barrier.

What else should I know about Atopivet?

Biosfeen is a skin barrier lipid that helps maintain the skin barrier and support normal inflammatory response.
Dermial is a type of hyaluronic acid which helps moisturize and restore dry skin.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.

What problems could my dog or cat have with Atopivet?

If skin irritation develops or increases, stop use and call your veterinarian.
Do not apply the Atopivet Collar on a damaged or irritated neck. Do not use on puppies less than 4 months old.

How do you use Atopivet?

Atopivet Mousse

Shake well before each use. Apply to dry coat. Dispense one or two pumps in your palm. Massage foam deep into the pet’s hair coat to ensure product reaches the skin. Repeat as many times as necessary to cover the whole body, or affected areas, as directed by your veterinarian. Avoid the eyes and mouth. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Once dry, brush the hair coat.

Atopivet Spot-On

Directions for Use: Avoid exposure to water (bathing, swimming) at least two days prior to and after application of Spot-On. Shake well before applying. To open the pipette, press the cap down until a click is heard, then pull cap off. For best results, apply directly on affected areas or part the pet’s fur and apply entire contents of pipette directly to the skin between the shoulder blades and down the back. Apply the number of Atopivet™ Spot-On pipettes specified, twice per week for at least 4 to 8 weeks or as directed by your veterinarian. Do not contact or allow children to contact the application site until dry.
Dosage: For dogs and cats under 33lbs use 1 pipette, for dogs over 33lbs use 2 pipettes.

Atopivet Collar

Directions for Use:

Remove the collar from the protective foil pouch. Unwind the collar, pull on the tab as shown in the pictogram, and immediately place on the dog’s neck. There should be enough room to slip two fingers between the collar and your pet's neck. Any excess collar length of greater than 1 inch (2.5 cm) beyond the closure should be cut off. Lavender fragrance will be strong initially, but will dissipate within 24-48 hours.
For best results the collar should be worn continuously for 2 months, and can be worn while bathing or swimming. This collar is not intended to be used for the purposes of securing a dog to a leash, or any other object.
