Atopica (cyclosporine) for Dogs

Licking, biting, itching, odor, and hair loss can be the result of skin allergies caused by an overactive immune system. If your dog is suffering from atopic dermatitis or atopy, talk to your veterinarian about prescription Atopica. This medicine contains Cyclosporine which effectively suppresses the immune system’s response to allergens so your dog can feel more comfortable and get a good night’s rest.

  • Reduces itching, swelling, and discomfort caused by skin allergies
  • Effective non-steroidal treatment for long-term use
  • Soft capsules are easy to administer

If your dog has atopy or skin allergies, you know it – she’s biting, scratching, and itching, and may even suffer from hair loss and sleeplessness due to her discomfort.  Cyclosporine, the active ingredient in Atopica, effectively suppresses the cells in the immune system that cause swelling and itching associated with skin allergies. Unlike many steroidal treatments, Atopica can be used on a long-term basis. And the soft capsules are easy to administer which makes adhering to the dosing regimen easier for you.
