Glad to find Denamarin at a good price.
From Groveland, FLComments about Denamarin TabletsI agree that my dog, a lab hates the flavor and was seeking out the pill and spitting it out until I tried baby food turkey and chicken in the little jars. I use a baby spoon and bury the pill in the meat. She gobbles it up and does even notice even the pill. We do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Now she runs to the spot where the pills are and waits for the treat. Give it a try, and, yes, Denamarin is making a difference in her blood work - a real God send. -
Awesome med!
From UndisclosedComments about Denamarin Tablets Cats and Small Dogs up to 12lbs, 30ctRecommend by vet for liver issues in my Yorkie. Been taking for 5 years with excellent lab results.

I have a cat that is about 21 pounds could I use the denamarin for large dogs. for my cat thank you.?
-
The Denamarin for Cats and Small Dogs tablets are recommended for cats because of their small tablet size and contain 90mg of the active ingredient S-Adenosylmethionine. For animals weighing over 12 lbs the labeled daily dosage is 1 tablet twice daily. The large dog Denamarin is recommended for animals weighing at least 35 lbs and over, has a larger tablet size, and contains 425 mg of S-Adenosylmethionine. The medium dog Denamarin is recommended for animals weighing 13 to 34 lbs and contains 225mg of S-Adenosylmethionine. We recommend talking with your veterinarian to determine which size product and dose is safe for your cat, and if you can move up the medium size.

My westie is on Denamarin for med. dogs (1/day). What is the difference between this and the Denosyl 225mg I also find available??
-
Denamarin and Denosyl are both supplements available for liver support in cats and dogs. Denamarin contains the following active ingredients: S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) and silybin A and B. Denosyl contains SAMe only. S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) is a molecule naturally made in the body, which helps in brain, liver, and other tissue function. Supplemental SAMe is thought to increase liver cell function in animals with decreased liver function. Silybin A and B, are extracts of silymarin (commonly known as milk thistle). Milk thistle is thought to improve liver function by acting as an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, protecting the liver cells from toxins. Both Denamarin and Denosyl are available in different doses depending on your pet’s weight. If you are considering switching or starting any new supplements, it would be important to speak with your pet’s veterinarian in order to select the most appropriate supplement and dose. Thank you, VetRxDirect
