Return Policy

Returning Prescription Items:

Pharmacies are unable to guarantee the integrity of any prescription product, as defined by governing pharmacy laws, once the product has left the pharmacy's premises. Therefore, VetRxDirect is unable to process refunds on prescription products for any reason. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain the health and safety of all pets. 

All returned prescription items will be destroyed according to local pharmacy policy.  No refunds will be made.

However, if a prescription order has arrived damaged, please contact VetRxDirect as soon as possible for an exchange. All exchanges must be made within 2 business days of receipt.

Our damaged policy does not include products compromised by preventable temperature exposure. Please consider your delivery address and environment when placing orders.

Returning Over-the-Counter (OTC) Items:

Refrigerated products are not eligible for returns/refunds.

All products must be returned unopened in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase.

VetRxDirect will not accept returns 30 days after the date of purchase.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges of opened items or products compromised by preventable temperature exposure. Please consider your delivery address and environment when placing orders.

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns.

Refunds are based on product prices only. 

Shipping charges are not refunded as part of the return.

All returns are subject to a 10% disposal fee. 

If a coupon was applied to your order and a refund results in an invoice subtotal less than the minimum amount required per the coupon, the coupon total will be deducted from your refund amount.

If a coupon requires a qualifying product, and that qualifying product is returned, the coupon amount will be deducted from your refund amount.

All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, with the exception of damaged deliveries or errors.

Please return the item(s) in the original VetRxDirect corrugated cardboard box whenever possible. Products damaged during return shipping will not be refunded.

Using a trackable, insured service to return your item(s) is highly recommended. VetRxDirect is not responsible for returns lost during shipping.

Refund transactions are applied to the credit card you used during checkout:

  • Refund transactions will be processed within 10 days of receipt of your return shipment.
  • It make take an additional two to three days after the refund for the transaction to post to your credit card.

If an OTC order has arrived damaged, please contact VetRxDirect as soon as possible. All exchanges must be made within 2 business days of receipt.

We also honor all manufacturer guarantees and offers, refunds, or exchanges within 30 days of purchase.
