Does this product sting when used on irritated areas??

The manufacturer does not report any irritation associated with VetraSeb CK. However irritation has been reported with phytosphingosine and chlorhexidine which are both ingredients in VetraSeb CK. The manufacturer recommends if skin irritation occurs or increases to discontinue use and consult with a veterinarian. Please consult your veterinarian regarding any further questions or concerns regarding this medication.

How often can I use this on my cat who has a skin infection?

It depends on the formulation that you order. The shampoo is applied 3 times per week or as directed by your veterinarian. The wipes are used one to three times per day or as directed by your veterinarian. The flush is applied twice a day or as directed by your veterinarian. The mousse is applied every 3 days for 2 to 3 weeks or as directed by your veterinarian. The spray is applied one to three times per day for 2 to 3 weeks or as directed by your veterinarian. Please refer to your veterinarian for product recommendations and dosing schedule for your cat.
