Citravet 675mg Tablets for Pets

Bladder stones are common in dogs and cats that have recurrent urinary tract infections. If your pet is prone to bladder stones, talk to your pet's veterinarian about Citravet, a prescription medication that helps reduce the formation of bladder stones and support a healthy urinary system.

  • Reduces formation of bladder stones
  • Supports overall urinary health in cats and dogs
  • For cats and dogs
  • Tasty liver flavored chewable tablets

When the pH in your pet’s urine becomes imbalanced it can cause crystals to form which leads to bladder stones. Diet issues, dehydration, and even certain breed types can increase the chances your dog or cat can suffer from this painful condition.  Citravet contains potassium citrate which is proven to lower the pH in urine and help reduce the formation of painful bladder stones.  Given as directed, prescription Citravet can also help support a healthy urinary tract over time. Citravet is easy to dose too – pets love the liver flavored chewable tablets.

      Maureen,

Both the Citravet and Urocit-K contain Potassium Citrate. Urocit-K is available in 540mg and 1080mg tablets. Citravet is available in a 675mg tablet.

Both products should be used under the supervision of your cats' veterinarian.

      Thank you,

Helped My Schnauzer

Comments about PRN CitraVet (potassium citrate):

My min Schnauzer was going through all kinds of testing and there were guesses that he may have kidney problems, among other things. He was put on special Rx foods until he would no longer eat them. He was given CitraVet. When we went a couple of days without the CitraVet he would begin to fail. Still don't know what was wrong but he gets CitraVet twice a day and eats a clean diet of vegetables, chicken and kibble. He is now an active healthy guy again.

My female Cairn Terrier, Betty Boop - age 11, had 2 operations to remove calcium-oxalate stones before I tried CitraVet. It has been almost 2 years and no more stones have formed. This product has been a life-saver!

I found these tablets at this site and decided to try them since my dog wasnt too keen on the powdered stuff. He likes these just fine. I hand him them before meals and he gobbles them right down. Easy and no mess.
