Betaxolol Ophthalmic Solution

Betaxolol is in a class of medications called beta blockers, that work in the body by relaxing blood vessels to decrease blood pressure. Betaxolol works in the eye by reducing pressure and fluid production. Increased eye pressure is commonly associated with diseases such as glaucoma and ocular hypertension, or a surgical procedure. If your pet has been diagnosed with glaucoma or an eye disease, your veterinarian may prescribe an eye solution such as Betaxolol for treatment. Available in 5ml and 10ml bottles.
