Akwa Tears can also be used as an eye rinse to cleanse irritated eyes and remove matter from the eye surface.  The active ingredient in Akwa Tears, polyvinyl alcohol, is mixed with other ingredients including lanolin, mineral oil, and white petrolatum into a soothing treatment that’s available in two formulations: eye drops or ointment.
