Plavix (clopidogrel bisulfate) Tablets for Cats and Dogs
Plavix is an anti-platelet medicine and anticoagulant, a substance that keeps the blood from forming clots.
Plavix tablets may be prescribed by veterinarians to prevent Arterial Thromboembolism in cats, also known as ATE in Cats.
Plavix tablets may also be prescribed by veterinarians to prevent Systemic Arterial Embolism in cats, also known as SAE in cats.
ATE and SAE in cats is commonly associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in cats, a feline heart disorder, also known as HCM in cats.
Plavix tablets may be prescribed by veterinarians for dogs in need of a long-term anticoagulant that are at risk of thromboembolic disease.

There are no smaller doses of Plavix in stock. The only tablet dosage available for clopidogrel is 75mg.

Yes you can. A local pharmaceutical company can formulate it including many different flavor combinations as the liquid can be quite bitter

Plavix (generically called clopidogrel) is a human-labelled medication that has uses in veterinary pharmacy.
