What is Oxibenz -3 Shampoo:
Oxibenz-3 is a shampoo for scaling and itching skin in dogs and cats with skin infections, seborrheic disorders and follicular plugging. This shampoo removes oil from your pet’s coat while helping reduce bacteria and fungus on your pet’s skin. It contains benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, and salicylic acid. With these ingredients, be aware that this shampoo may bleach colored fabrics.
How to use Oxibenz-3 shampoo:
Shake well and wet the hair coat with warm water. Apply a sufficient amount of shampoo and massage into coat. Leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat if necessary and may be used 2-3 times per week or as directed by your pet's veterinarian.

I bought the Oxibenz-3 shampoo because our Cocker Spaniel...
From Rockford, ILComments about Oxibenz-3 ShampooI bought the Oxibenz-3 shampoo because our Cocker Spaniel was diagnosed with yeast on her skin. She was itching horribly bad, to the point that she started losing her hair and getting hard patches on her skin. I tried a tea tree shampoo, but that did little or nothing at all. When I used the Oxibenx-3 shampoo the itch seemed to calm down. But then she started to get a horrible odor on her skin. To the point I couldn't even be around her, it smelt so bad and I thought about putting her to sleep because I couldn't imagine how miserable she felt. I did a lot of research and found some information about Chlorhexi Derm 4% shampoo. I tried this just once and then did a apple cider vinegar rinse and WOW was I surprised. The odor was gone and she seems to hardly itch at all and some of her hair is actually starting to grow back. I also switched her to a grain free diet. So happy.... I hope if this sounds like something your dog is going through, please try this regiment and I hope it works for you as well as it did for me. -

What is a good conditioner to use with this shampoo? It has really helped with the coat on my shi tzu no longer oily/smelly, but she still scratches alot, I think her skin is just really dry.?
