1. How does Diavetin interact with ocu-glo...and 2. interact with Novolin-N? 3. How do you determine mix of diavetin and Novolin-N given every 12 hours? I will call my vet but none have known much about ocu-glo or Diavetin. Any informaion would be very helpful. It would be GREAT if diavetin helped lower his BG numbers; however, knowing how to wisely incorporate it is the question. Helpful advice is requested and needed to help prevent hypoglycemia. DiaVetin is a supplement that contains active ingredients used to support blood sugar metabolism related to diabetes. Clinical evidence is not available as it relates to supplement-to-drug and supplement-to-supplement interactions between DiaVetin and insulin or other supplements such as OcuGlo. If your pet is already on Novolin-N insulin I would avoid using this supplement to prevent the lowering of blood sugars too much since insulin is already being used to manage diabetes. Please discuss with your veterinarian any new supplements given to your pet that mention the management of diabetes to avoid any adverse effects.
