What is Diarsanyl Plus?

Diarsanyl Plus is a nutritional supplement for maintaining digestive functioning and coating of intestinal mucosa. It may be used in dogs and cats. It contains montmorillonite, electrolytes, and sugars. It is an oral paste, making it easy to administer to your pet. Contact your pet's veterinarian prior to starting Diarsanyl Plus in your pet.

 

 

How to use Diarsanyl Plus?

Cats and dogs weighing 4-15 lbs : The 10 mL syringe should be purchased

 

For dogs weighing 16-66 lbs: The 24 mL syringe should be purchased

For dogs weighing 67-132 lbs: The 60mL syringe should be purchased

 

Administer orally for 3 days or as instructed by your veterinarian.

Animals 4-15lbs.: 2mLs per day-1 mL in the morning and 1mL in the evening (each graduation on the syringe represents 1 mL of paste). From the zero position on the dial dose syringe, turn the ring until it reaches the first graduation position (1mL or as directed by veterinarian). Insert syringe into the corner of the pets mouth and depress plunger, placing Diarsanyl Plus paste as far back on pets tongue as possible.

 

Animals 16 to 40lbs: 4mLs per day-2mLs in the morning and 2mLs in the evening (each graduation on the syringe represents 2mLs of paste).

 

Animals 40lbs to 66lbs: 8mLs per day-4mLs in the morning and 4mLs in the evening (each graduation on the syringe represents 2mLs of paste, therefore, give two depressions in the morning and two depressions in the evening). From the zero position on the dial dose syringe, turn the ring until it reaches the first graduation position (2mLs or as directed by veterinarian). Insert syringe into the corner of the pets mouth and depress plunger, placing Diarsanyl Plus paste as far back on pets tongue as possible.

 

Animals 67 to 132lbs: 20mLs per day-10mLs in the morning and 10mLs in the evening (each graduation in the syringe represents 10mLs of paste).From the zero position on the dial dose syringe, turn the ring until it reaches the first graduation position (10mLs or as directed by veterinarian). Insert syringe into the corner of the pets mouth and depress plunger, placing Diarsanyl Plus paste as far back on pets tongue as possible.

 

Oral medications should be given one hour before or three hours following the administration of Diarsanyl Plus.
