  • Effective against a variety of bacteria
  • Fights some protozoan infections
  • Easy to administer capsules in three different dosage levels

Veterinarians prescribe the antibiotic Clindamycin to treat a range of bacterial infections that attack bone, teeth, and soft tissue in cats and dogs. This proven antibiotic is effective because it stops bacteria from growing and reproducing so they can no longer continue to cause infection.  Clindamycin is also effective against some protozoa that cause infections in pets.  The small capsule form can be given directly or put in a treat or pill pocket. It’s available in three different dosage levels. Your pet's veterinarian will prescribe the right level for your pet. Be sure to discuss the dosing process and side effects with your pet's veterinarian. What do other pet owners think about Clindamycin Capsules? Click on the “Reviews” tab above to learn more.

Resistance is a major concern when giving antibiotics. Resistance occurs when bacteria survive and mutate and are then able to survive even after antibiotics are given. To help avoid any resistance, it is important to give antibiotics as they are prescribed for as long as they are prescribed even if your pet is looking and feeling better.
