If your dog or cat has a bacterial infection, your veterinarian may prescribe Azithromycin, an antibiotic that is effective against a range of bacteria that cause infections in the throat, lungs, ears, and skin.
Dogs and cats can get common upper respiratory bacterial infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, as well as bacterial infections of the skin and ears. If your pet is suffering from one of these infections, your veterinarian may prescribe Azithromycin. This powerful prescription medication stops the spread of the infection and kills bacteria by preventing the bacteria from producing proteins, which is necessary for growth. For your convenience, we compound Azithromycin into different dosage levels and two, easy dosing formulations -- flavored oral suspensions and tablets
